No, snakes do not have any legs at all.  Some may have small bony vestigial growths on their skeletons, but these don't count as legs since they aren't manifest on the outside of the animal.

Actually, Boas and Pythons DO have vestigial rear legs, and they have a pelvic girdle. The remnant legs show up as two small claws or spurs on either side of the vent. They are longer in males than in females, and male Boas and Pythons use these claws to scratch at the female during courtship to stimulate her to mate. These should NOT be confused with the male's sex organs, or "hemipenes", which are located inside the base of his tail, and which can be extended from the vent. Many wives' tales of snakes "growing legs" when tortured are actually reports of the hemipenes being extended in agony as the poor animal dies.

Snakes do not have legs. However, they do have hemipenis (did I spell that right?) which are two hook-like inner 'appendages' which come out to aid in copulation. If someone saw these, and did not know what they were, it is plausible that they could be mistaken for hidden legs.

Snakes are reptiles that have no limbs.Even without limbs they move from place to place or climb trees easily. They are able to do this by means of the broad plates on the lower sides of their body.

Scientists have recently found out that snakes move using their scales. Their scales grip the surface they are on and pull themselves forwards. They found that out by putting a snake in a kind of tube thing and the snake couldn't move anywhere. Then they put the snake on this clear table thing and I don't know but somehow they found out how it moves.

NO!!! Why would anyone think that? Anyway if you read the bible it says that the snake tempted adam and eve with the fruit and for punishment god took away the snakes legs so that it would have to pull itself everywhere.

"Harry Potter"'s answer below says he can see them. I don't believe him. So I 'll vote they don't have legs.

Snakes do not have any legs, they just crawl little left and right to move on with the little help of its body formation or parts.

Snakes don't have legs at all. But that does not mean they do not have legs last time. Snakes did have legs in the past, but after many generations, their legs disappeared.

Not that I know of. They might, but you would probably have to research it, or have a snake as a pet. It also depends on what kind of snake you are talking about.
