No, any bloody discharge during canine pregnancy is not normal. Bleeding one week after mating is not normal and can be due to pyometra which is a infection of uterus. This infection can develop after heat cycle in dogs. Symptoms of pyometra are

   1. Vaginal discharge
   2. Lethargy
   3. Depression
   4. Loss of appetite
   5. Excessive thirst
   6. Frequent urination
   7. Weight loss
   8. Diarrhea

In my opinion, your dog needs to be investigated by the vet.

Take her to the vet's. We thought our dog had just been in heat longer and it turned out to be pyometra. It's very dangerous especially if the uterus bursts. Our dog is still recovering. Don't let it happen to you, we were so close to losing our dog.
