The male bobs his head to his mate and walks around her while the female quacks back. If the female excepts the male grabs a tuft of feathers on top of the females head and stands on her back. The female will then lift her tail end up and the male will sit on her back and pull his tail down to touch around the 'butt' area with his own 'butt'.
