This info was given to me by my veterinarian:
"Weepy eyes, sneezing from colds & upper respiratory infections are common in cats & will respond to L-lysine, 500 mg. sprinkled in food once daily."
I've found that it clears up in about 1 week & can be discontinued, or repeated if the problem returns.

Your cat might be having cold. Beside watery eyes and nasal discharge, other signs of cold in cats are
  1. Drooling
  2. Fever
  3. Loss of appetite
  4. Sneezing
  5. Breathing problems
Both virus and bacteria can cause upper respiratory tract infections leading to common cold like symptoms in cats. Mostly, cats have viral cold. This infection is self treated after one to two weeks. For bacterial infection, antibiotics can be used. But no medicine should be used without vet supervision. So, take your cat to vet.

It is better that you try and give something really natural o your cat and at the same time a lot of love and affection. In case your cat is suffering from a higher respiratory infection then it will definitely take him long time to recover.

You can try and give her fancy feast ocean white fish or friskies turkey feast with gravy. Try and serve t hot since she can at least feel it as she will not be able to smell it much. Try and put a little in her mouth so that she is able to taste it. Try providing her with water all the while. Take her t the vet if even after a day she feels uncomfortable.

Hello,

I adopted a ragdoll cat over 10 years ago.  She has been healthy. Last week she started sneezing a lot today her nose and eyes are running. She looks very uncomfortable. Continues to drink water. Just wants to be left alone.

It's very cold out and afraid she will get sicker going to the Vet.
