My rabbit eats chocolate by accident. At Easter this year, I put a half eaten Mint Slice Easter egg down beside my bed and my rabbit, Tinker, ate some of it while I was asleep. Once I realised, I became paranoid and googled everything I could to find about rabbits and chocolate. Tinker was fine. Some bunnies aren't. Chocolate is not something that you would feed any pet on a regular basis, or at all if possible, but my Tinker fell in love with chocolate. If you have an excellent understanding of how a rabbits gastro intestinal system works and are providing everything necessary to enhance this, a tiny chocolate treat every now and then should be okay. Because Tinker fell in love with the mint taste as well as the chocolate taste of my easter egg at a very early age she gets fresh mint daily and 1 M&M. Every now and then I buy her a Mint Pattie. I chop it up into really little squares and give her two tiny squares a day. She eats fresh grass, oaten hay, lucerne hay (timothy), and a plate of fresh vegetables daily and is a pleasure to know.

Same here! Our rabbit, Cabbit, has a bit of an identity crisis and thinks she's a cat. However, chocolate must be her favourite treat and I try to keep it down to the smallest amount however, many an Advent calendar has bee 'Nobbled' as she hunts down the smell of chocolate through wrappings and even climbs obstacles to get to it! She is one healthy bunny though and again has an otherwise balanced bunny diet of hay, pellets, carrots etc. She also has a passion for poppadoms and has to be restrained from eating chicken..  Even whipping it out of our dozy cat's mouth before now! It is a challenge controlling her diet but she runs around the house, up and down stairs, on and off beds, plays with Duplo toy bricks/Mega blocks and isn't overweight by any means!

Rabbits can't eat chocolate because they'll die or get sick.

No, they'd probably get sick from it. Just give it pellet food and fruits/vegetables.

You guys are idiots. I don't feed rabbits oats cabbage or chocolate. I shouldn't own a rabbit if I don't know what I can feed them. There is rabbits for dummies book out there for people to read his to PROPERLY take care of a rabbit. I highly suggest you read it before owning a rabbit.

I wouldn't feed a rabbit chocolate. It's not a normal food that rabbits eat. Try sticking to carrots, cabbage, lettuce. If you want to give it treats they make treats for rabbits. Check your pet section at your local walmart.
