She is one of the most charming of all things. She'll work you until she has her way. But you just don't mind it, because she is that adorable. When we brought her home, she systematically charmed every living thing in this house. We all fell in love with her, she worked hard for it! Lol

I've had few cats before. Then it's been years without a pet. Then i got a cat like several months ago, kept it few weeks and gave it away! Unfortunately my lifestyle can't handle any pet anymore. They need care that i can't provide so there's no point.

This is Rumplestiltskin. He lurks in the dark corners of our apartment while jumping out from the most unusual places trying to scare us... And succeeding. Oh, he thinks he's a model, too.

Indeed, Virginia. We had Almond since birth before Rumple. The vet we used for Almond's shots and care knew we took good care of him and told us about Rumple and asked if we would like to take him home with us. Obviously we said yes, lol.

Abandoned at the vet! Well I am grateful Rumpelstiltskin ended up with you...good for the vet to pick you out.

When I was in Iowa, Dear Otis, I had several wonderful kitty friends... I think I already wrote here about River Rat, but I loved her so much...

She lived with my friend Billy, who was a combat veteran of both WWII and Korea. Billy was out Christmas shopping about twelve years ago, it was Christmas Eve and heard a mewling seemed to come from the Des Moines River (freezing with ice floes) behind the Target there.

Pulled the little calico kitten out of the plastic bag where it had been tossed, vet said no hope, Billy said "try anyway, no matter what."

* * *

Billy passed away this spring age 90, River Rat now old too...and I will always love them both very much.

That is funny, KB Baldwin, and true...I think I was maybe around thirty years old before I finally figured out who was training who with the kitties I loved...
