my cat motormouth has 40 places to sleep but now has taken over the bathroom sink forcing me to brush my teeth and shave in the kitchen sink . anyone have anything to change this cat??

Turn the water on Otis, Motormouth will learn rather quickly to vacate the sink when you come in to use it.

That is so precious...my earnest request is for you to go ahead and use the other sink, and let Motormouth sleep where she wants... They are so dear, they give us so much...their wonderful love...

Otis, I have cats that do this as well. I use the distraction technique which is food. I scoop out the gray kitty and put a little bit of food on the counter for her and then turn the water on kind of semi-high so there is more than a drip coming out.

If the water just drips out, she just slides back in the sink and blinks at me, so I turn it on higher. I was cat-sitting for a woman at work and one of her kitties like to jump on the bathroom counter and wanted to drink out of her cup of water. So she got the kitty her own glass and filled it up twice a day. Weird. So try this and see if this helps.

I think you might have to try being more of a "pack leader" ... Instead of letting your cat rule the roost.  If you consistently keep her off places you want her off of .. I think she'll get the picture and settle for the other 39 places she has.  :)

Give up, Otis---you've already indicated over time that she is the one in charge.
