Do you already have dogs in your house? Guinea pigs can be kept in a cage away from the dogs. Are you ready to take care of the animals. Clean the cage, food and fresh water e very day and time out of the cage? Would you keep it inside or outside? Who would pay for the cage and supplies?
Perhaps you can talk your parents into going to a pet shop and seeing the guinea pigs, they make very cute pets but you'd have to keep them away from anything that could harm them like a dog.
