I ride horses and the horse I ride at the local barn is getting sold. I love him to pieces and want to buy but my mom says no because I am the only one who rides in the family. What do I do?

Would it be possible to reach out to other riders in your area and see if they'd be willing to share the horse with you, and all chip in with the costs.

I don't ride horses, so I'm no expert - but that's probably what I would look into if my daughter wanted to ride a horse.

Maybe you can make arrangements with the new owners to occasionally pay to ride him for an hour or two.  Or offer to help with his care and grooming in exchange for riding privileges.

Having/keeping a horse is very expensive. Unless you can get a job so that you can pay both for the horse and its care, just let it go.
