My dog is 7 years old and just started acting nervous. Looking around at things in the house, noises bother him. He's never been like this before and as far as I know nothing different has happened to him?

Your dog may have sensed a change in the environment or in you that is too subtle for you to notice, and is causing him anxiety.

I know I am answering this 2 months later, but if you haven't had your dog's thyroid levels checked, please do so. My dog has thyroiditis, which is slightly low thyroid levels, and it showed by her becoming anxious. It can easily be controlled by medication.
