Since you would be getting your pups ears cropped by a veterinarian (preferably recommended and experienced or your dog could look funny forever) if that is what you choose to do after learning about it then you are best off consulting the same vet(s) who will be evaluating your pups ears as well as your breeder who is supposed to be informed on those things and be able to guide you through questions about your puppy.
