In georgia monkeys are banned but you can obtain a license for retail or wholesale for exhibition of one. I only know this b/c I was going to get one and I live in ga. But my husband stays in alabama so they are ok to have them in alabama. If you catch my drift on that

Pygmy marmosets are so small they can fit on your finger and can bite hard but, they are legal Ohio and Kansas but, are they legal in Georgia

MONKEYS DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS!!!! I cannot stress this enough!!! You need to have 30 hours a day of supervision, training and some real patience. Monkeys also tend to revert back to their wild nature when they get older. They are not children- They are wild animals and need to be respected as such... REAL TROUBLE_ NOT GOOD PETS
