My Baby Snakes & Older Snakes Eat Worms. I Catch The Snakes & Worms Myself With Some Friends From School. They Will Eat Many Little Critters. Grasshoppers, Crickets, Worms, Slugs, Spiders, Etc.

Um seriously? Because my snake eats worms actually thats all he will eat and according to some information on the web garter snakes in california have started eating snails and slugs so they prey doesnt exactly have to move around a lot for the snake to want it.
