I have a few suggestions..pesticides is the last resort..and in your room the
smell alone would probably make you sick not to mention the danger of getting the spray on you or someone else.use outside only..if have to spray spiders in your room, you can mix a little anti bacterial hand soap with water
about half and half.that will put them out of commission.. Also no joke we have 3 cats and they amaze me all the time..by bringing to my attention spiders and then promptly eating or pawing them to submission..cats just seem to seek these and other household critters out..or call an exterminator for other alternatives. Most household spiders are mostly
harmless, but that depends too on where you live in the country.you never know..you should find what spiders habitate youe area and see if they pose
any real threat..good luck

Mans answer to everything just spray pesticides etc. Sorry but if this is advancement, no wonder the world is going backwards. No wonder the ecosystem is in peril.

T-wright, For many reasons this is very bad and outdated advice. You are not considering the dangers of these most noxious of chemicals to all life, including the human inhabitants. We need to discourage the use of! Period!

Stop being afraid! People scared of spiders are 50% more likely to see then than people who are not

Can you not find out where they are coming in and block this entrance off.  Best to gather those already in and put them outside.  All these chemical sprays are not the answer.
