Sometimes even though they are hurt, they still will try to proceed normally. Check to see if the dog's walk has changed. If there is indeed a limp, monitor it. If it shows no improvement or swells, go see a vet. If there is no hint of a limp, go see your vet immediately since it could be a serious internal problem.
