I've raised 4 American Pit Bull Terriers and I suggest that you feed them at least 3-4 times a day. Feed them first thing in the morning when you wake up. Again a couple hours later and once more in the afternoon. Remember what goes in on schedule comes out on schedule so don't feed them their last meal too late. Definitely don't feed them right before bed. This leaves them comfortable to sleep and leaves you with less of a chance of having a mess to clean up. As long as you take them to the bathroom before bedtime, they should sleep through the night. Also be careful what you are feeding your dog. Be sure that it has no by-products or artificial fillers, these are not good for your dog and can cause him serious health problems in the future. Google "dog food grading" and see what grades the most common dog foods receive. You'll be surprised at what you see. Hope this helps.
