How Long Does An Aylesbury Duck Sit On Her Eggs Till They Hatch?

Duck eggs take 28 days to hatch and an Aylesbury's laying season is between February to August approx. It's rare for an Aylesbury to hatch her own eggs, so you need an incubator or a broody hen to sit - you can wait forever for an Aylesbury to get broody, but I've not seen it happen yet!

My Avlesbury has been sitting for about 20 days now!!, just after I purchase a beautiful white fluffy silkie (Broody Hen). She has laid 1 egg in water, which is nowhere near wear she normally lays (strange).
