What engine does your Cat have? Please ignore the ignorant answer you received. If you have a "wet" clutch you will need to use a specific motorcycle grade oil safe for wet clutch use. There are friction modifiers that won't allow the clutch to slip. DO NOT use automotive grade oil in a wet clutch motor the clutch WILL slip.

If you have a belt drive with a CVT style clutch and oil will be fine, although I only run synthetics in my quads.
