The Red Panda will often use its sharp claws or growl loudly to defend itself.  Its black shoulders and legs blend with the forest camouflaging it from predators.  The government protects the Red Panda from poaching and hunting because it is endangered.

This shy and quiet animal will attack if necessary.  It usually looks for food during the night so it doesn't have to conflict with other animals hunting for food.

Hope this helps!
