My male cat, Maximilian, became sluggish al of the sudden. Every day he greets me at the door with great enthusiasm, but lately I have to call for him, and even then I wonder where he is. He hardly gets off his kitty blanket and only gets up to go to the bathroom and a drink. Even this becomes what seems a chore. I am getting very depressed because I cannot help him. Vet bills are to high! HELP

Your cat is very sick and needs veterinary attention urgently. Failure to drink sufficient liquid can damage his kidneys quickly. The meowing indicates distress, plus cats HATE to soil themselves, therefore you should not delay any further.

My Cat Just Died today, he was really sick. We took him to the vet yet nothing helps. Maybe I was too late, or maybe his time has come. He was kinda okay when we returned from the Vet. He had some fever which the vet gave some injection to cool him off. The vet told me that whenever cat is experiencing high body temperature, he will stop to eat or drink. You need to check for his body temperature , normal cat should be around 37 - 38 C ( I'm not sure if this implies to Cats who lives outside of tropic climate places). Anything higher means that he is sick. The only way to correctly check the cat's temperature is to place an anal thermometer through their backside and leave it for a while until the reading is stable. Make sure to do it with the help of someone else since cat wont like it. don't ever give them any of those paracetamol or any other type of fever meds because it is toxic for them. There is two main types of diseases.  1 that caused by bacterial and another that caused by viral. Chances to survive bacterial infection is high , but only if you act quickly. Viral infection usually can be recognized by the swelling of their stomach. Survival chances are slim. Hope it helps.

He might have diabetes I had a cat that peed all over herself too and it turned out that she had diabetes but she was 12ish so there I a pretty small chance that your cat has diabetes but it could happen. If you have been giving himlots of wet and unhealthy food your cat probably has diabetes.

Aw..I have a cat right now, and I'm getting a kitten for Christmas. What you should do is to take it to the vet, if it's too expansive, go and look at a pet store or go where you got your kitty and ask them if they know..

In accordance with my knowledge, I think that your cat is either suffering from depression or from pregnancy if she is a female. Cats with depression or pregnancy exhibit symptoms like being lazy, not eating much and above of all, losing control when the time comes to attend the call of nature. It would be a good idea if you take your cat to an animal hospital and consult a well-known veteran for this dilemma.
