Trunk – to reach food, to bathe themselves and to drink. Also to spray themselves to keep cool.
Tusks – to dig the ground and helps with defence against others.
Feet – large round feet stops them from sinking in the ground.
Skin – their grey skin helps with camouflage.
Ears – their big ears flap air to keep them cool.
Protection - elephants roll in mud and also throw hay on themselves. This helps prevents sunburn and flies landing on their backs.
