My vet gives the puppy his rabies shot at 8 weeks old. Plus all other shots. Parvo booster's and all other boosters are given once a month for 3 months when they are puppies, this protects the puppy.
Ask your vet for assistance he will explain what you need to know to protect your animal.

It depends on where you live. It may be anywhere from 3 to 6 months the first time. Ask your vet, they will advise you which puppy set and when it needs to be done. They often give out a little sheet that has their shot schedule on it when you first go in as well or send reminders and things. Your vet's receptionist can probably just tell you when they do rabies if you call.
