A teddy bear hamster will generally live up to 2-3 years and to let it live a long and happy life you need to give it lots of love and attention and find out what its favorite foods are so you can feed it to them when they are being good.also you should feed them 2 tbs of food a day and clean its cage 1nce a week and refill its water every day.Ive had my hamster for 3 months now and Ive done all of that and shes living the dream.another thing to do to insure you hamster can enjoy their life to its fullest is give it lots of toys and make sure they get a checkup every year

I have a teddy bear hamster he is so cute if you buy one from the pet store ask them to handle it cause they didnt do that 4 me and he bit me but thats only because he was curious never before been held. If it gets to hot feed it a couple of frozen peas don't over feed it though. Hamster tend to poop a lot so you need to change the cage often every two to three days is my guess. They can stay a while with water they don't drink a lot! Just keep checking often. They live up to 24 months some longer. Their really good pets when you get to know them my hamster doesnt bite and he is adorable!! I love him so much take him out often because what kind of a life is just sitting in a boring cage so take them out some. K hope that helps!!!!!

You need a exercise ball.My hamster likes peas a lot.She loves to be played with. I bought her a house, she likes to hide in it. Shes  two years old and is still hyper,active, and healthy. I have a Metal wheel, She chewed though her Plastic one.

Just give it companionship if you don't it will get mean and grumpy. You will also need something for it to chew on so it will not bite you and its teeth stay short

Muffin my teddy bear hamster was 2 1/2 years old, she died of health issues and fleas?? She was my first hamster and had a few more after Muffin, Most Hamsters live to about 3 years - but Muffin had a good home and a good life..

My hamster named Teddy was a very good and cute hamster and lived for 4 years!! Its amazing, and he lived a good life. :)
