Red eared sliders eat feeder fish but I wouldnt put a goldfish in the same tank as a turtle. :)

Noooo!!!! They can eat guppies, they are very different from Goldfish. The reason why you shouldn't feed them goldfish is because they have mercury.
Yess I feed mine guppies and he loves them he eats what he wants and the rest swim around until he gets hungry again
They do eat goldfish, though they should not. My turtle ate mine on Wednesday. My question is, if the turtle starts eating live food, will it go back and eat its pellets after, or, seeing as how it now has the taste of meat, will it only eat fish?
