My black lab had a small hard lump, but on her chest. It was a tumor that the vet recommended should be removed as soon as possible. It wasn't life threatening, but grew to the size of a baseball before I had the vet remove it. Have a vet look at it.
My dog also has a lump on the side of her nipple and she is a winner dog I just don't now if it can be milk or a tumor.
